BeAuTiFuL designs Sharon!!! I really like that last pic of the earrings. I may just have to raid your Etsy shop today.
Well we are just melting out of our Winter Wonderland snow storm that hit us early Saturday morning. I played with my beads all weekend.
Here's some bead crochet bracelets I finished up...
Then I worked in some more spring/summer like colors to get my mind off all the snow and being stuck in the house...

Wow Sharon those are fantastic!
Donia those are all beautiful! I have so much respect for anyone with the patience to do bead work. I've tried it but my eyes - and fingers - get too tired.
I have one meager offering. I haven't been doing much creative stuff lately. I'm feeling sort of stunned with all the stuff that's happened. My boss has warned us that another pay cut is coming and now is when I really need to get busy with my secondary income but I'm having trouble getting motivated. I feel kind of like 'why bother.' Nothing I do lately seems to make a difference.

Donia, those pieces are gorgeous! I too admire the seed bead pieces I see people do. My mind and eyes say do one thing and my hand does something else!
Laurie, that piece is beautiful! You need to rethink that "secondary" income idea because you could be making a mint from it!!! I understand that it is difficult to get started though when you are given such disturbing news at work. The old saying about the journey starts with that first step.....
Thank you both for your nice comments!

Very nice Sharon, good job!
We were thinking of putting a heart on a ball chain like that last week.
Here are some new rings.

My favorite clasp is a "Hitch" (some call it a ball & socket)
Sturdy, and very easy to use.
~I still can't figure out how to post a picture (not a link)~
thanks everyone,

Beautiful work everyone! Sharon, I LOVE the necklace with the garnets -- everything about it is great! Donia, you're skill with the seed beads is enviable! Laurie, you need to do LOTS more -- the glass and silver with the leather is a wonderful combo. Neil & Linda, the rings are teriffic (and I want to come to your studio to torch!), and Renee, what can I say? I'm a sucker for anything with a skeleton key. It's lovely!

There is so much cool stuff posted in here!
Sharon, you always have such great designs and color schemes.
Donia, I've been getting the seed bead bug lately and if I'm going to blame someone, it's going to be YOU! They are lovely piece and I'm intrigued by the green and purple pattern.
Laurie, you might just have to give up your 1st job and spend more time making jewelry. The textures between the silver, the lampwork and the leather is very cool. Neil and Linda, the rings are very pretty and I'm sure they are great sellers. Do you mind sharing what gauge wire you are using and do you have to anneal it first?
I've been crazy trying to build up inventory after the Christmas rush. I had several markets and by the end of the silly season, there were pretty slim pickings.
Here are some new things I've been working on.

Tammy, first thank you so much.
Second, your bracelets are gorgeous! I love that last one the most! I could wear that with so many of my clothes. Do you have them listed on Etsy?

As Sydney is a major tourist destination, we have a great weekend market at The Rocks. A group of us applied to get into the market and we were accepted. So, every weekend, The Sydney Glass Bead Artists have a booth. The lovely Jenn Findlay (flamebird here and ekkie on LE) and I share a booth the second weekend of every month and it I honestly have a difficult time keeping up with all the activity. If I take the time to photograph my work, edit it and then post it on etsy, guaranteed the next market it will sell and I have to pull the listing.
Just curious, what do you think I should price it at? It is all sterling silver with Swarovski crystals.

Great pieces here. I wish had the eyes and patience for the smaller beadwork....
Here is a necklace from me. My very first multi strand.
I didn't have a clue how to price it out and found Eni-oken's price calculator to be a wonderful way to figure it all out. The price is great too at $5.00 for the template/spreadsheet. It was easy to use.

Lorraine, that multi-strand is absolutely lovely.
Laurie, your design is a huge eye catcher and very unique.
Tammy, your bracelets are begging for spring time to arrive around here.
Linda, those rings and pretty and begging for spring as well.
Sharon, did I miss thoughs earrings in your Etsy store, or did you keep them for yourself? They were speaking very loud to me.

Thank you! I haven't posted them yet..... I have had so much company since I have been here in FL that I haven't done anything to my site there or my webpage either! My neice is coming next month and she told me we are going to WHIP it into shape!!! LOL!
I need to look at that spread sheet calculator for pricing. I am never sure how to price a piece.

Tammy,
I almost always use 18 gauge wire.
Sometimes 16 for mens.
We anneal all our beads yes.
Thanks!
Thanks everyone for the nice comments,
There are diredt flights here now through a charter called Locair.
